Elemental Shaman Guide

As I was leveling my Shaman I did a bunch of research to figure out what stats to focus on and what type of gear was needed for an Elemental Shaman as I reached level 80 and beyond. The following is what I came up with, but I am sure it is not even close to perfect and others might have some better input. The gear information is a little old, as it does not take into account the newer patches, so you may want to check out ToC to see what can be switched out.

Minimum stats to be doing high level raids
Hit - 367 (295 with a shadow priest)
Spell power - minimum 2000
Haste - 500 to 600
Crit - a minimum 20%

Shaman totems - This site lets you click on the specific totem to find its strengths and weaknesses (for example the elemental shaman's use of Totem of Wrath is far superior to Flametongue, so one elemental should be dropping this in all fights to help casters)

As I said none of these are set in stone, but they did help me to start understanding things.
